The Institution have built up their reputation over the last 4 years with a balance of high tempo, insane live shows and technical ability in the studio. With the number of gigs they have played in the 100's at such a young age, they do not lack the professional approach needed to push themselves to the very top of the metal ladder.
In the last year , they have shared the stage with bands like The Black Dahlia Murder, Annotations Of An Autopsy, Abigail Williams, Suicide Silence and the legendary thrash metal outfit, Testament.
2009 holds to be a busy year for Insti, with a tour hopefully planned for Summer and a selection of shows around the UK. It also the year in which they release their second full length album , which has yet to be named, but it promises to be an album that will get your attention in the most violent way possible.
'With mind blowing guitar work and vocals that Satan himself would be jealous of, these guys will kick your fuckin' arse into next week!' - Beyond All Reason
'The Institution's performance was outstanding, the crowd loved them and the technical skill of these guys secured their place.'- HUB Festival Judges
"The Institution and their debut album 'Into The Chaos' is one of those albums I like to recieve in the post from bands looking for their break and putting 110% into achieving it. I listen, I'm impressed, it doesn't see the trash can! Superbly written and self recorded, the only thing wrong with it is there is no label stamped on the back!
With songs like 'Through The Eyes' and epic solos in 'Seventh Circle' it will have you moshing and wishing you were in a pit being stomped on.
As possibly the only band from Liverpool to have stuck together for longer than 8 months, worked their way up to support bands such as Suicide Silence, As Blood Runs Black, Born Of Osiris, The Black Dahlia Murder and Beyond All Reason I would gladly give them my time and ALTF would be honoured to work with such a talented and rather dashing bunch of young men.
I only have one suggestion for anyone unsure of The Institution and that's go fucking check 'em out at one of their 2009 shows! You will be more than impressed with the level of energy and enthusiam hurtling at you at a similar speed to a train hitting an unsuspecting squirrel. Fabulous!
One to watch in 2009.Quote me on it.
Rock The Fuck On Boys.
