Pamela Viana was born and raised in Saskatoon SK, she grew up singing in smoky bars with her father's country western band. Pamela Viana's musical influences hit a wide spectrum ranging from Led Zeppelin to Patty Loveless, from Aretha franklin to Chris Cornell, Maynard James Keenan, and Kurt Cobain. Having a wide range of musical influence has allowed Pamela Viana's sound to mold into a uniquely strong and identifiable tone that is easily recognizable and relateable admist her heart felt lyrics full of conviction.
After High School graduation Pamela moved to Vancouver BC to seriously pursue her career as a singer song writer. A few years of solid hard work, perseverance, as well as collaborations with fellow talented musicians began to pay off when Pamela managed to accomplish her first Professional recordings. Tracked and mixed at Aqua Sound Studios in Toronto Ont. Producer Norm Sabourin and Engineer Ian Bodszasi worked with Pamela to help guide her artistic direction, resulting in a fresh and honest melodically driven selection of songs which can be enjoyed on her Self titled debut EP.
