Kinetic Feedback

About Me

In the ever-changing landscape of music, that’s given way to such genres as; emo, screamo, nu metal and Nintendocore, one question remains! Does anyone play rock music anymore? Staying true to its roots, Kinetic Feedback answers with a resounding, “Hell yes, motherfucker!” This band is slowly, but surely, turning heads, and making shockwaves in the San Francisco Bay Area music scene and beyond. In just a short time, the band has quickly made a name for itself, playing clubs throughout the Bay Area, as well as, Sacramento. They've created enough of a buzz to be chosen as one of the bands that will appear on a CD of unsigned artists, which will go along with the behind-the-scenes, tell-all book about one of their biggest influences: Alice in Chains!

Bassist Jay Parham describes the band as, “Hard rock with catchy hooks and good melody, but edgy enough not to be popcorn-powder-puff rock, like what's all over the radio.” What Parham fails to mention is that this band’s; complex arrangements, core-deep bass lines, thundering drums, powerful lyrics, and gritty vocals, set them apart from the rest.

Look for Kinetic Feedback’s “Suffocate the dark”, on the forthcoming release of “Alice in Chains: In the Studio”, which contains a sampler CD of unsigned bands, who were influenced by Alice in Chains.

Gone in 14 Seconds

Last night our song Slippin' Away was heard by millions of people on UCLA radio (ok, more like, 26 mostly-intoxicated gnomes from Fargo).  It almost became a lap dance (getting all excited o...
