In the ever-changing landscape of music, that’s given way to such genres as; emo, screamo, nu metal and Nintendocore, one question remains! Does anyone play rock music anymore? Staying true to its roots, Kinetic Feedback answers with a resounding, “Hell yes, motherfucker!†This band is slowly, but surely, turning heads, and making shockwaves in the San Francisco Bay Area music scene and beyond. In just a short time, the band has quickly made a name for itself, playing clubs throughout the Bay Area, as well as, Sacramento. They've created enough of a buzz to be chosen as one of the bands that will appear on a CD of unsigned artists, which will go along with the behind-the-scenes, tell-all book about one of their biggest influences: Alice in Chains!
Bassist Jay Parham describes the band as, “Hard rock with catchy hooks and good melody, but edgy enough not to be popcorn-powder-puff rock, like what's all over the radio.†What Parham fails to mention is that this band’s; complex arrangements, core-deep bass lines, thundering drums, powerful lyrics, and gritty vocals, set them apart from the rest.
Look for Kinetic Feedback’s “Suffocate the darkâ€, on the forthcoming release of “Alice in Chains: In the Studioâ€, which contains a sampler CD of unsigned bands, who were influenced by Alice in Chains.
