THE HISTORY
Back in December 2006, in Cihampelas St.
Bandung City Indonesia, Fiersa Besari
(vocal-scream-bass) a freak who thinks
that he doesn't match with this world,
Bayu Putra Ramadhan (vocal-scream-guitar)
a local dude with dreams and Rendy Aditya
Pramandha (vocal-scream-drums) a
broken-home boy, made a band called
Annarima Broke My Heart. They named
the band after Bayu's idol who accidentally
broke his heart, Annarima. Felt that their
music compositions had emptyness, Fiersa
asked guitarist from his former band, Arika
Rahman (vocal-guitar) a computer geek
who had trauma with music to join them.
First he refused, but then he interested
with the band's dreams. So in January
2007, Annarima Broke My Heart officialy
rebuilt. It was March 2007 when they
decided to record their own album.
The process was so independent, they
arranged, recorded, mixed and mastered
their album all by them selves. Annarima
Broke My Heart personels hate major
label, for some reason they think that
major label always rapes musician idealism
and freedom to create something different.
So in May 2007 they spread their premier
album, DEATH OF AN ARTIST with different
ways, not in music stores, but campus to
campus all over Bandung City. They never
ment to sale their album anyway, they just
wanted to be heard. Now they give their
album for free, and almost 1000 people
in bandung had listened DEATH OF AN
ARTIST. May God bless 'em and all
independent bands around Indonesia.
