Mariam's passion for music was ignited, as a child, by her mother at the local folk clubs. This inspired her to take up the violin which she played with various bands at events and festivals. Mariam went on to become a passionate singer, where she performed extensively on the London cabaret circuit. Mariam was keen to keep her feet firmly rooted in her original love of folk music and is now working to collaberate with similar artists and push herself further into the folk scene.
