In 1996 a young artist launched a couture line of clothing (NISSI by WHOLE ARMOUR)created by DeAngelo Trent; a southern boy raised in Los Angeles,spending many summers in New York. This bicoastal designer took his line to the streets promoting and selling his clothes straight out of the trunk of his car, creating a buzz that has last over a decade. In the book of EPHESIANS the word explains how one must put on GODS ARMOUR to keep protected from the daily battles of the world. WHOLE ARMOUR is pronounced "khol klee" in Hebrew. NISSI means "victory"...the concept is to put on your ARMOUR and the VICTORY is yours. With all the designs printed bold with pearl white and outlined with crystal silver they're always a conversation piece. Whether you rock your jeans baggy, Timberlands loose or your True Religions fitted, compliment your fit with a NISSI shirt and you will always be noticed. 11 years later DeAngelo Trent is now a full time PR personnel and is personally responsible for placing product on Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, Carlos Mencia, Dave Chapelle, Charlie's Angels, Boom Town, Knocked Up, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, Comedy Central, BET, MTV and the list goes on. DeAngelo's wardrobe stylist/asst experience includes working with MIKE JUDGE and most recent NICK CANNONS WILD N OUT and SHORT CIRCUITZ. At a time when everyone has entered the business for the wrong reasons it's good to see there's still someone here for the art and the love. There's an old saying that states, "an overnight success takes 10 years" in this case I think it's safe to say NISSI CLOTHING/DEANGELO TRENT is an overnight success!
