DANCING! Jazz, ballet, modern, pointe, lyrical, ballroom, and latin! (Hiphop is fun, too, but my schedule can't fit it . . argh) And choreography! Also, theater, music, movies, various obsessions, and other interesting things . . .
God. And the Devil. And just because it relates, I'll add another qustion. Where I'd Like To Go: Heaven. And Hell. In sort of a Dante fashion.
Father Dave, Father Grohl. aka The Holy Grohl. aka frontman of Foo, the Fighters of. aka former member of Nirvana. Definately all kinds of rock, but I can stand listening to pretty much anything except bluegrass and certain kinds of pop and rap. Evanescence, the Killers, Aerosmith, and the Beatles are just awesome. Queen rocks. Jimi Hendrix and Falco are, of course, the two greatest single artists ever. I like the Foo Fighters and Nirvana, as previously implied. People think I know too much about them, and about Kurt Cobain in particular, but really it's just secondhand fandom from Vicki. I swear, I only like their music. The fact that I know Kurt had scoliosis, or listened to Queen repeatedly in his dad's car, or played a Mickey Mouse drumset when he was a kid, is all just Vicki's fault.
Where do I start? I love The Godfather, Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, Moulin Rouge, The Phantom of the Opera, Flashdance, The Blues Brothers, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, and lots of classics like Gone With the Wind, The Wizard of Oz, and Alfred Hitchcock movies. My favorite actor is Johnny Depp, and I love just about every one of his films that I've seen.
My favorite show is Friends, no contest, but I also really like Lost, Boy Meets World, Home Improvement, Whose Line is it Anyway? and the old Saturday Night Live episodes (with the original cast - I LOVE John Belushi)
I'm into the classic thriller/adventure books. The Three Musketeers, Dracula, The Phantom of the Opera, and Siddhartha are some of my favorites. (yes, I know Siddhartha is totally the Anti-Adventure novel, but it's still awesome). My number one all-time ultimate favorite? The Godfather. (and yes, it is a book, too)
I don't idolize anyone, but I certainly look up to some people. My family, of course, and Martha Graham.
