The Beat MÃ ras came to life through meeting friends of friends.Playing thier first live set at Molly Malones in 2006, the band have gone on to play various London venues such as The Old Blue last, Rhythm Factory and the Barfly. With their first festival appearance scheduled for late 2007.After rehearsing all over the south from friends Barns to Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly studios. The Band have settled in their own studio in North East London.Described frequently as sounding a mix between Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and The Doors , the phsycadelic indie sound continues to impress crowds.
The Loves Lost is the workings of a certain Mr Stuart Ward. Stuart is a talented singer/song writer that has been putting pen to paper since the moment he learnt to strum his first chord on his fathers acoustic
As a boy growing up listening to his fathers record collection, Stuart has taken on quite a diverse taste in music and this is shown in his many styles in which he plays. Here you will hear the gentler, more tender side to his work. These are the recordings that we can all relate to because every single one of us, somewhere along this journey called life, has LOVED, LOST & LIVED.
