QC's taking off! :
Quantum Cellar might be one of the most amateurish and poorly skilled "would-be-prog-rock" band in the universe. But you might also find that QC's melting-pot creativity has something to it worth listening to, something not totally uninteresting, something that you would like to see evolve and mature. Your support combined with the band members' will to improve themselves can make a difference... And then who knows what the future will bring ?
Short Biography :
The Quantum Cellar experiment began in june 2007 when the Denison brothers and their mutual friends Simon Tonon and Cederik Leeuwe finally made a long-wished project come true. Right away, the band began jamming and went into a creation phase. 9 months later, given that enough material had been created, QC released in April 2008 their first demo song "Drifting Elsewhere" while still planning and arranging their very first album, "T0" (Tee Zero) which came out in october of the same year.
Quantum Cellar's members are self-taught both musically and technically; not only are they involved in composing, arranging and performing their music, but also in recording, mixing, producing and promoting it.
Although ludicrously unskilled and knowing that only the hardest work could bring some results, the band members are eager to refine one of their only assets : their furious desire to remain as creative as can be.
QC's next album (which will be a double CD record) is currently well underway and is due to come out sometime near the end of summer 2009. The new album continues to explore paths that might be of dramatic influence on the band's future sound. This record is also made with the participation of guests coming from the Jazz scene... Stay tuned!
