Band Members: About Guilt Trip
The music produced by the band can best be described as chainsaws, adrenaline and razorsharp nails. Guilt Trip is not EBM, nor are they pure electronics, but more of that dirty and scraping Your skin type of music. One could call Guilt Trip a “synthrock†band, since the music is rock mainly played on synths. Simplest is to call it Industrial.
Among Guilt Trip’s influences are bands like Nine Inch Nails, Skinny Puppy, Marilyn Manson, Tool, Ministry and Clawfinger, but also earlier EBM acts shine through like, Front 242, Frontline Assembly, Click Click, Borghesia just to mention a few.
Guilt Trip has done both the BOTOX mix and the OR TWO mix of Velvet Machine

Influences: About Jens Hellqvist
Jens is first of all a member of the Swedish rockband Strip Music, but he has a past together with members of Lip Service. Mörkret över Tranås for instance. And Jens was a member of Andreas former band, The April Tears, for a number of years including production credits for the bands debute records, "Cellarbird" and "Strange Paradise".
Jens remix -Velveteen Machine- is a hypnotic journey that somehow
brings us to Glasgow rather than Tranås.
To Trainspotting rather than Bladerunner.
To Spaceman 3 rather than Kraftwerk.

Ima Tree is Fredrik Broberg, a long time multimusician. A singer first of all, weddingsinger it has showed too, a guitarist, a drummer, a bassguitarist. He´s worked with numerous bands during the years, Street Fighting Man, Trucker Cleavage, Sabrosa... And now he´s started his career as a remixer. The first "Im A Tree" work, the Trucker Cleavage song "First Female Monkey In Space", is kicking ass too. Check it out.
