Farmakon

About Me

Farmakon was formed in April 2001 in Tampere. The first demo caught the attention of Lee Barrett and the band was quickly signed to Elitist Records, a branch of infamous Earache. The 2003 debut "A Warm Glimpse" caught the attention of progmetal circles, and Farmakon was widely noted by the metal press as a band to keep an eye out for. After the rather obscure death of Elitist Records Farmakon was signed by finnish FS Records (now part of Alterstream Music). The second album "Robin" (2007) continues with the band's trademark twist, but also introduces a darker and more focused side of Farmakon.
