Holographic by Nature...is the new progressive trance and downtempo project by DJ Scatter. This project is years in the making and years from completion. The focus: melodic, (often) psychedelic trance and downtempo music with an emphasis on new sounds and sub-genre declassification. Or rather, hopefully stuff you haven't heard before. Holographic by Nature likes melodies, liquid-y psychedelia, and a more minimal approach to sounds that allows them to trail off, as opposed to becoming cluttered. He also likes sarcasm, stupid cats, and lizards. He dislikes velociraptors and people that talk too much and listen too little.
Scatter...has been working on production for close to eight years, and has been part of the midwest psytrance scene for close to three. He now lives in Berkeley and is trying to promote and DJ awesome progressive psytrance that seems to rarely get played around these parts. He has a bachelor of the arts in music, and comes from a background of various influences including a strong upbringing in the classical/jazz realm.
