DJ DK was born in Ft. Riley Kansas. With both his mother and father serving in the Military, he moved frequently living in various locations such as El Paso, Germany, Chicago and presently San Antonio, Texas. San Antonio is currently making rapid strides for its place in the electronic music scene. The recent flux of musical talent into this city has readied the fertile grounds for the growth of an innovative musical talent. Just like the greenhouse effect, when all the conditions are right such as they are for this DJ, the potential is limitless.An ear for music has led this DJ down a rapid road to success. Since his start, it did not take much time at all to receive requests to play for the top night clubs in the city, and quickly moved forward to hold residencies in two of San Antonio’s most influential dance music clubs. Opportunities to work with some of the biggest names to play in the local scene were not long to follow. Opening for artists such as Liquid Todd, DJ Irene, Micro, Kenneth Thomas, DFUSE, Oscar G, Dave Dresden, Serge Devant, Morgan Page, Noel Sanger, Starkillers, and even one of the world’s highest ranked artists, Paul Oakenfold, DJ DK has begun his ascent by playing alongside many of electronic music’s elite.DJ DK plans to push the envelope as he makes his mark in the electronic music industry. Those who know him will not forget him, and those who do not know him soon will.
