jaynewayne was the name of my alter-ego in my younger days. I was rather independent and could hulk out when I needed to get something done. Nowadays when jayne does any work it puts me in bed for a couple of days. I guess I am not getting any younger.I have two grown sons. Now it is time for me to get a life other than my children. I hope to paint. I love oils, watercolor and china painting. I started painting before I had children but decided to put it on the back burner when my oldest was a toddler. It is real hard to paint when you have a child shaking the easle! Besides, I wanted to give him my attention. He's grown now, with his own life. But I have wonderful memories! I will probably put some of them on canvas!When we lived on an island in the Caribbean and while the boys were in school, my art group would set up at different places on the island every Friday and painted whatever. I miss that.My youngest is still at home but will be on his own before I know it. He just got his driver's license and I'm twice as happy as he is about it.
