Shawn Manalp is a worship leader and songwriter from South Eastern Michigan, and leads worship at Crossroads Community Church in South Lyon Michigan. Playing his first professional gig at the tender age of eight, Shawn never felt at home like he has since the Lord called him. Says Shawn, "I couldn't believe the peace I had when I first started on the praise team at the church I then belonged to! I felt like I finally understood who I was, and why I was created in the first place!" Almost immediately, the Lord began to give Shawn songs. "I kept trying to build these huge songs, I didn't realize that I already had the entire thing." Soon, he recorded an entire CDs worth of material with his band-mates in "Unleavened", a group of sold-out Jesus freaks from Ohio and Michigan. "I've realized" he says... "this whole thing is about love. Loving God, and loving people. If everyone had a close personal love-relationship with God, I would be a happy man. It's my prayer that through the songs I write and my worship leading that people might be inspired to draw close to the Lord, and to surrender more and more of themselves to Him."..
