WHO DO YOU BELIEVE IN?1. Lord, protect me from my friends, I can take care of my enemies. 2. For the future, the motto is, "No days unalert." 3. There are very few men - and they are the exceptions - who are able to think and feel beyond the present moment. 4. It is better to be feared than loved. Fear you can control; love, never. 5. Pick up a bee from kindness, and learn the limitations of kindness 6. Space we can recover, time never. 7. It must be considered that there is nothing more difficult to carry out, nor more doubtful of success, nor more dangerous to handle, than to initiate a new order of things. 8. Oysters open completely when the moon is full; and when the crab sees one it throws a piece of stone or seaweed into it and the oyster cannot close again so that it serves the crab for meat. Such is the fate of him who opens his mouth too much and thereby puts himself at the mercy of the listener. 9. Love and affection are also potentially destructive, in that they blind you to the often self-serving interest of those whom you least suspect of playing the power game. You cannot repress anger or love, or avoid feeling them, and you should NOT try. But you should be careful about how you express them, and most important, they should never influence your plans and strategies in any way. 10. PEOPLE.... Kick them - They will forgive you Flatter them - They may or may not see through you. But ignore them and they will hate you (See my new blog THE MAN AND HIS SHADOW) 10. Hope has two beautiful daughters. Their names are anger and courage; anger at the way things are, and courage to see that they do not remain the way they are. 11.
