What's up Myspace. It's you're boy right here Jay. He was born and raised in Lowell, Massachuetts. Jay made it through middle school and high school. He is currently in college and looking to get my degree in Business Management. He believe school is very important. "If you don't have music or anything else, you have education which means you can still get a good job. People who quit high school or drop out of college miss out on a good education. School is not always fun, yes, but in the end it always pays off."
Other than music, Jay love sports. In college, he runs track. "You always have to work hard everyday to get what you want. You can't expect things to just fall in your lap." Music means alot to Jay. It helps him get away from reality and just be in his own world. "I think that's what is great about music. It can bring us somewhere where it's just us and the music. I don't think I've ever met anyone who has said that they don't like music. I believe there is some type of music out there for everyone. Everyone can relate to music. Whether it's a good or bad situation, you can always find that one song that matches how you feel. Next thing you know you're sitting there for hours listening to the same song, letting it help you get through."
His life has been pretty simple, just like any other teen. Had struggles with his beliefs about God. Not whether to believe in him or not, but just personal things that deal with him. "God has always been there for me. I thank him so much for blessing me with all the gifts that he has, because without them then I wouldn't be who I am today. You take what's given to you. If you want something bad enough, you'll use whatever you got and do watever you got to do to get yourself out there." Just look at Jay. He sits on a laptop on a computer program with an internal microphone making his music. The sound quality is not that great but it's a start. "I'm dealing with what I have. I'm taking what God has given me. If he didn't want me to have it he wouldnt' have given me all these opportunities to do it."
During the early years, Jay always thought about writing music and performing but he never believed that he could do it or where it would take him. He wrote in a notebook everything that came into his head and took ideas from other singers to form is writing style. As time went by he began to improve his writing technique. He works hard everyday. Jay is looking for a chance to be heard and for people to realize what he's about. He thanks those who have inspired him and helped him along the way, including Cake-O-Holics and Spectak.
Jay is determined to get his music heard. He's not going to quit on something that he loves. He accepts positive criticism because he knows that it will only make him better. So take a listen to what he's got, listen to the tracks, and realize who is and what he's talking about.
