I am a full-time mass communications and graphic design student and I like to make spare time mixtapes/edits/reworks/remixes/refixes and more. I started messing with production software in 2007 and shortly thereafter I got my hands on two Pioneer CDJ turntables and a Pioneer DJM 400. I spent some time DJing but sold my gear to pay for college textbooks and other expenses. Since then I have relied on my software and anything else I can get my hands on. I have had some good experiences turning mediocre parties into energized danceable parties.
About my current tracks:
"Drama Over Baghdad": A mashup I made featuring the lyrics to Outkast's "Bombs Over Baghdad" and "Drama" by SCNDL. I made few edits to the vocals and beat.
"Ballers On Acid": Another mashup featuring lyrics from Project Pat's "Ballers" laced to some heavily distorted and fast paced electro by Fabian.
"Hustlin vs Btone": One of my first mashup attempts featuring edited vocals from Rick Ross' "Hustlin" and the beat of Benny Bennassi's "Btone". There are a few things I would change but I am happy with the outcome for a first attempt.
"Bomb Threat Checklist": This is one of the mini mixes I put together last year for the St. Cloud State University dance team when I was asked to make some material for them to choreograph to. This mix was used last year during their halftime performances at home football games.
"Walkman Edit": Another one of my initial attempts at an edit. "Walkman" is one of my favorite SebastiAn tracks so I wanted to edit it and chop it up with my own style.
"Stay Fly Remix": Yet another mashup this time featuring lyrics from Three 6 Mafia's "Stay Fly" accompanied by the beats of Modeselektor. This version is an extract of an old mix I made so that's why it gets a bit repetitive near the end.
