PRINCE OF PEACE AUGUST '05
This is long overdue, we know, but rather than leave you all to speculation, we wanted to enlighten you on what's gone on with blackoutskies in the recent months and what our plans are for the future. Towards the end of our run, we began to experiment with new sounds which, frankly, didn't sound like blackoutskies. Not that a band shouldn't change and mature over time, because they undoubtedly should, but after parting ways with Bryan and the addition of a third guitarist we truly weren't the same blackoutskies any longer. It is for these reasons that we decided to no longer continue on as blackoutskies. We've pondered this for a good while and we believe this is for the best. Fear not though, for none of us are done with music. This band has encompassed our lives for the past few years and you, the fans, have meant the world to us. We've made some amazing friends during our time in this band, none of which we shall forget. As for us as musicians, we are not going anywhere. Our drummer, Bryan, is now a member of Adiana a promising band from North Jersey. I urge you to check them out. The rest of us are currently experimenting with an inventive new project. We're extremely excited about it and we can't wait for you to hear what it is we've been up to.
