Scratchingdog was born on 27 June 1958 in Kamina (ex Belgian Congo) and started
playing when he was 12.
Back then his influences were many. Among others he was inspired by
the guitar heroes of the day like Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Ritchie
Blackmore and many others, as well as “old†guitarists such as Hound
Dog Taylor, Howlin' Wolf, etc.A Spanish guitar and oriental music aficionado, SD started writing his
own songs almost at once.
A lot of bands later, and after 14 years spent performing on stage in
Belgium, The Netherlands and Germany, while also playing in small
studio sessions, SD met Sully.
Very soon their encounter would initiate a studio album project.
Chemistry was there from the start and 9 months later their first opus
“On the Rocks†is finalised.Material for the next two albums is ready and just waiting for them to
hit the studio again.
The band is also currently getting prepared to climb on stage and perform live.“Music is the way I communicate, and I believe it is through music
that I reveal myself. I just play guitar.â€

Hi everyone! Our first album " ON THE ROCKS" is now available
We've been welcomed at Classic 21 the 4th of March, and we'll be at Radio Quartz the 21st of April @ 4pm ( www.radioquartz.be). But now is the time to work on the next one !
