Born from the roots of Subcore, Ever Rat Records, and Alchemy comes the latest edition to the death-metal, hardcore punk, fuck 'em up scene of alternative music. In the mid to late eighties David Ulysses Portnow operated two successful labels, Subcore and Ever Rat. Known primarily for their releases of GG Allin, The Mentors, El Duce, Dehumanizers, Coven, State of Confusion, A.M.Q.A., and a host of other bands. Victor Hayden owned and operated Alchemy. Under this name, Victor promoted such acts as the Melvins, Neurousis, R.K.L., Sacrilege B.C., and Posion Idea. Sadly, Subcore, Ever Rat, and Alchemy all failed to survive for the same reason. 11 of their combined distributors filed for bankruptcy. All debts owed to the labels by these distributors were legally dismissed, thus leaving the entities penniless. David Ulysses Portnow and Victor Hayden learned a great deal from the past, and have now combined forces to bring you some more evil-offensive-fucking rock.
