ABOUT MAXINNE: Born and raised in San Juan Puerto Rico, singer/songwriter Maxinne was influenced thru music at an early age, yet she didn’t realize the effect it would have later on in her life. Maxinne’s love for music runs in her blood with a family tree that includes great 1930’s big band director and bass player Rafael Munoz and relatives who have a passion for the musical arts. Her mother and father made poetry, art and romantic Spanish ballads a natural part of her life.It wasn’t until her mother's sudden death that Maxinne reached out to music unconsciously. “I realize now that my mother’s loss was my birth into music and music saved me. Somehow everything that I had been holding inside of me for years needed to be sang and so I finally had the courage to share it with everyone.
The moment I got to see that the melodies coming from long ago or from the present where making a puzzle together with lyrics , that was magic!. I will never forget that day, the day when i realized i was a songwriter and made my first song".Maxinne also pursued an acting career in the theater and got the opportunity to work on film but at the time noticed that she was mistaking her true calling. “I learned a lot through out my years of pursuing acting and I still like to act but I realized that what I needed to focus on first was on my musical instrument.I do hope to someday start in Broadway and do more films. The singer makes her debut with the single “Love is Music" available in 2009 and will be performing at clubs in Puerto Rico and the USA. Maxinne already had the opportunity to be the opening act for reggeton star Daddy Yankee. Her first music video"Love is Music" will be out in March 2009.http://cdbaby.com/link?u=230750
