My Interests

music, literature, politics, traveling, good food and wine.

Music:

I listen to a wide variety of music but I especially love jazz, blues, bossa nova, and disco. I am happy to admit that I'm not cool and don't keep up with what the kids are listening to these days.

Movies:

Chocolate, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Misery, Moulin Rouge, Lady in the Water.

Television:

Nip/Tuck, Six Feet Under, Weeds, Grey's Anatomy, Boston Legal.

Books:

Dr. Tatiana's Sex Advice to All Creation, Don Quixote, anything by David Sedaris, Stephen King novels and historical biographies.

Heroes:

My grandparents for being amazing human beings. Judy Shepard for her dignity, grace, and making the best out of a horrible tragedy. Nancy MacNair for devoting her life to the cause. And finally Milner Ball for feeding his neighbors (and for so many other things it would be impossible to list).
