Nightsound

About Me

Originally formed to pursue audio for visual works in 1999, Nightsound has since collaborated with numerous local filmmakers and visual artists, and created its own brand of music.
Independently, Nightsound conceptualized and produced the albums “Strangers” (2001), “Apart” (2002), “Bleed” (2003), and “I” (2004/2005).
After a 2-year break, Nightsound reshuffled its members, revamped its image and sound, and completed “Circus In Motion” in 2007, featuring Alan on drums, Eugene on bass, XR ..s, Kevin on guitars, and still, REQ on vocals, and aptly renamed the band collectively as Nightsound+, to signify the continuation of the history and the endless reach to work with other artistes. Boon (Poe) joined the band on guitars in early 2008 to add to the already filmic and atmospheric sounds that the band is fond of creating and recording.
The road to today’s formation, though hard and arduous, had led Nightsound into a new realm of audio and music. As much as it had relentless tried to honed its craft, the band strives to continue to explore and improve, and will do so as it always had to create thought provoking and emotional pieces.
