Sounds Like:

When I go to other peoples houses, the first thing I do after saying hallo is to check out their record collection.

And when I have the time, I constantly check for good records or produce myself all day long. I must admit I am a nerd and I do this since 18 years now. I love music and I never started buying records, because I wanted to be a DJ, it just happened. I played most Berlin Clubs such as Watergate, WMF, Cookies, Bar 25, 103 to name a few. At the moment I have no residency in a big Club, but I still play on illegal parties or good bars. This can not stop me from buying new music, basically I don t give a fuck, I do it for myself, it's pleasing to me and it makes me very happy. I try to come out with some own productions at the moment, but at this time the machines are not doing what I m feeling, it s frustrating sometimes, but I know, I just need time and more experience with it. Actually I am a trained sound guy and have studio experience for over two years, but also I am too lazy sometimes. I hope in one year I will like what I hear, when I m doin it.
I promoted some parties over the years with big names like Erlend Oye, Justus Köhnke, Salvatore Principato from Liquid Liquid, Munk, ND_Baumecker, Sven Dohse, Ruede Hagelstein, Shir Khan and Marc Hype playing, but it was really hard work and didn t pay, so... I like to do more parties, but basically don t have the balls for it at the moment.
My style varied over the years, it started with the hardcore Hip Hop years from the golden days, then soul, funk and disco, then I used to be in a reggae soundsystem, but quit it, because they only wanted to play reggae all night long. From 2000 on I started to become more interested in Electronic sounds as Hip Hop was over since a couple of years back then. Clubs like Ostgut and Bar 25 made me become a fan. It took a little while to find out what was going on, because I had no friends who could teach me about good House or Techno music, so I went to Hardwax and just checked out every label and got an overview. Whatever I play it has to be funky in some way even if it s minimal. I still buy vinyl, because covers and information about the production makes me more satisfied than a soul less mp3.
This may sounds a little crap to you, but you can expect me to rock a crowd every time I m on the one, two s. You will not hear a straight up deep house set or only techno, it s really a mixture of everything I liked over the years.
Love
