What is Abject-terror?“A contemptible person or thing that inspires great dread”A NEW BRITISH COMPANY DEDICATED TO PRODUCING INDEPENDENT MOVIES & MATURE PROMOTIONAL CONTENT IN SOUTH YORKSHIRE UK!!!!!!!ABJECT-TERROR IS DEDICATED TO PRODUCING INDEPENDENT FILM WITHIN THE THRILLER/ HORROR GENRE. INSPIRED BY FILMS FROM THE BRITISH GOLDEN ERA OF THE 60’S TO MID SEVENTIES AND UTILISING INFLUENCES FROM THE ITALIAN GENRE CINEMA OF 60’S TO MID 80’S, ABJECT-TERROR AIMS TO PRODUCE FILMS WITH THE SAME TENACITY AND MARKETING CONCEPT, AS WELL AS THEIR INSPIRED PRODUCTION TECHNIQUES.WE AIM TO PRODUCE FILMS THAT OTHER COMPANIES SIMPLY WOULDN’T TOUCH!ABJECT-TERROR AIMS TO PRODUCE MATERIAL THAT IS THOUGHT PROVOKING, BLOODY, EXCESSIVE, CONTENTIOUS, BUT ABOVE ALL TERRIFYING!!!I am a huge movie fan and in particular I am devoted to the horror genre.I'm tired of being constantly bombarded with pointless remakes of classic titles and it seems as though nothing is sacred, Nothing! I yearn for a repeat of the golden era of Independent & Major studio horror releases.I personally am a fan of early British thrillers from studios like Hammer. Amicus, Tigon, Tyburn etc and film makers such as Pete Walker, Norman J warren, Peter Collinson, Sidney Hayers etc as well as being massively inspired by the Italian genre film makers such as Mario Bava, Lamberto Bava, Dario Argento, Ricardo Freda, Lucio Fulci, Ruggero Deodato, Sergio Martino Enzo G Castellari and even Umberto Lenzi and Andrea Bianchi too.Inspired by the influences mentioned above, I wanted to produce a feature film that would express my love and respect for these filmmakers and their films. I happened upon the idea of a mini movie festival format where the audience would experience a different style of horror movie every 20 - 30 minutes with adverts & trailers in between - a British Flea pit experience as apposed to the U.S. Grindhouse experience if you will! Each different story will allow me as a writer, producer & director to indulge in the style and excess that came with such pictures like, Frightmare, The Devil rides Out, Blood & Black lace, The Bird With a Crystal Plumage, Torso, The Beyond, House by the Cemetery, Amityville 2 the possession, The New Barbarians, 1990 Bronx Warriors to mention just a few.As it stands ABJECT-TERROR’S compendium feature film, VOLUME 1 (Working Title) is a ‘SELF-FUNDED PROJECT’ in order to maintain complete artistic control over the project and demonstrate to potential investors what can be achieved on a low budget but with a highly talented work force.ALTHOUGH INDEPENDENT INVESTMENT IS WELCOME!NOW CASTING!!!!THE DEVILS DUSK CHAPTER 1 -“You can run but you can’t hide” SETTING: THE NORTH 1969A group of girls leave the comfortable surroundings of a remote underground club only to be left in the wilderness by two caddish rogues: after they flee, leaving an accident victim lying on the road.The girls walk through the lonely woods until they stumble upon a bloody sacrificial mass and flee to safety.
