Trey here. This is my story.
I grew up in the small town of Lufkin, TX. I starting playing music in church, and I know my talents are gifts; and I know I’m supposed to use them, so I do. In high school, I was mostly locked in my room until three in the morning teaching myself all the Stevie Wonder and Elton John songs I could get my hands on; and I started writing my own music too. Then I went to college. College brought me Hemingway and heartbreak, two things that make a guy a better songwriter. I started playing solo acoustic shows, mostly at a little venue close to campus where they let me play too much. I kept writing though, and most importantly I grew my love for the piano. In true form, I began sneaking into the music school late at night to play on the expensive pianos that could be found behind most any door in that building. The songs were piling up. And in March 2008, I recorded a five-song EP called “The Missing Truths.†Now college is over and I have officially arrived in the musicland that is Dallas, playing shows at a venue near you.I'd love to book a show with you, whether it be a backyard party, a college event, or a cult gathering.
