Sounds Like: SARAH'S BIOGRAPHY!! At the age of two, Sarah Jackson could sing before she could talk, and she could dance before she could walk. Sarah grew up in the small town of Needles, California where she was influenced by her parents Doug and Patty Jackson who were worship leaders in various Christian churches throughout the tri-state area. This upbringing brought with it a longing to devote her talents to the greater Good. Sarah's parents would soon divorce and it would force her to play the role of mother to her three younger sisters at the age of 12, thus putting her dreams to spread her music across the world on the back burner. Sarah went on to win several Talent contests and regional competitions in Nevada, Arizona, and California. She even earned several diverse vocal awards in Broadway musical pieces, Italian opera, praise and worship, R&B, Country Solo, and Country Group; However family, work, and education always came first-consuming her life and energy......Sarah Jackson recently resided in Las Vegas and Henderson, Nevada, where she had hopes and dreams of finally taking what God has given her to another level and sharing it on a larger scale. She spent most of her time there working on the Vegas strip promoting timeshare and selling oxygen-yes, OXYGEN! The whole time relying on the Las Vegas bus system. After a corrupt employer stole her wages, having tested her Pride and Faith to a near breaking-point, Sarah had no alternative but to leave Las Vegas after Five long years!......In October of 2007, Sarah became homeless, living with any family or friend's family that would take her and her fiance in. A drastic move brought Sarah to reside on the border of New Mexico/Colorado in an old, 6,000 population, railroad town. A few months later, her fiance got a call for an interview for a State job they had been waiting to hear from for more than a year back in Las Vegas!......On a leap of Faith, Sarah and her fiance took a loan on their tax return; with four bald tires and a prayer-they made yet another drastic move! This time it brought her face-to-face with her past; in her hometown of Needles, California-to live in her father’s garage...and on God’s good humor. After two more months of not knowing and still not being able to find a job-the State job called back!......Then, AGAIN, in November 2008 they BOTH lost their jobs! Sarah and Travis had to flee from their apartment in Las Vegas to take over his brother's room in Raton, NM. ANOTHER State job in Las Vegas called BOTH Sarah and Travis for interviews! Great news! But is this just another disappointment or a real step toward a NORMAL life?! The restless couple is again living out of Nevada hotels and familyies homes in California......In spite of all odds and obstacles, Sarah still desires to discover the words inside of herself to relate to others around the world in hopes of giving others a reason to reach for more in their own lives. After more than 1 year of homelessness and several attempts and failures, Sarah and her Fiancé have learned more than ever before that pursuing your dreams is no easy feet and neither is trusting God! But both are vital to a LIFE worth living!......Sarah has had to put her writing, collaborating of other artists/songwriters, and creating an album on hold at this present time. Her life's ambition is to:"To Live Fearlessly with Purpose-Changing Lives on a Massive Scale, Through Communication."
