Band Website: Albertini Guitar Works
Influences:
So many have asked where I have come from and what do I listen to? At least a Little of about anything Lots of influence from a firm foundation of Traditional Classics my Mother and Father listened too, mainly Gordon Lightfoot, Joan Baez, Simon and Garfunkel, Peter Paul and Mary, soundtracks, atari, commodore 64, Tandy, nintendo, super nintendo.
I started playing in my hometown Arma Kansas in St. Josephs Catholic Church for mass using my Dads applause "applesauce" guitar by Kaman, and later in St. Marys Catholic Church Pittsburg Kansas, and in the Arma Methodist Church with our then Christ centered band Lightsight which became Captured, Seeking Wisdom)-Members Chris Conklin,Dennis Jamison,Keith Marshall,Jennifer Knapp,Tammy Arnold,Daniel T. Albertini}, My other "Rock" band Monument is who I practiced with the most years, thanks to my Fathers kindness of letting us use his Survey Office to practice. I really cut my teeth playing live at Arma City Park, Methodist Church, Little Gravies, Arma Homecoming sidewalk performer, the "Buffer Zone" and various motor cycle rallies, benefits of various natures, we consisted of Mark Roberts rhythm and lead guitar/vocals, Kelly Seaman bass, lead and rhythm guitars/keyboard synthesizers, Matt Galindo bass guitar and drums, Daniel T. Albertini lead and rhythm guitars. Steve Malcolm now known as "Lightnin" has become a well known blues man all his own working with the sons of a famous blues man! Jeff Peternell introduced me to most of the rock and metal bands and showed me all kinds of licks. He was the first left handed guitar player I had ever seen! Ron Burns and I did several concert performances and private party engagements over the years we wrote some really unique and distinguished compositions. I wish I could find those old tapes? My good friend Justin Sumpter bassist kept me up to date on all changes in the metal world. Iron Maiden and Megadeth was our staple for years. I still marvel at the incredible musicians in those bands. We jammed together for many years and went through a lot together growing up. Bill Cox did a lot of jamming with me and taught me a lot about the history and techniques of Eddie Van Halen, we sank our roots deep into the Southeast Kansas fields in that time.Cicadas, Frogs, Aliens, Sasquatchs, Faeries, Nymphs, Giant Praying Mantis's, Mexican black widows, Godzilla and Mothra:
I certainly have to thank my friends who had me playing live for all my friends and fans at the Luv Bubble. This is where The Rock Revolution Begun on 99.1, Listen and go see for yourself live at the Luv Bubble Pittsburg Meadowbrook Mall!!!
AC/DC came like a herd of elephants through my grade school friend Jeff Ryders headphones on a basketball game bus ride!!! I just did not know what to do with myself when my eyes started watering my spirit was hit so hard in a way I had never felt/heard? (I later learned this is what is collectively known as an "Eargasm!!!!!") Little did I know how many more of those I would experience in my life!!!!!!!!! It hit me harder than the individual thumping me on top of the head wanting his turn to listen!!! I barely noticed the pain! It was "Sink the Pink and Angus Young was my focus for years in trying to master the "Thunderstruck" solo, with the bust your balls power of his brother Malcolm on the rhythm guitar, Phill Rudd Drums, Cliff Williams Bass and Bon Scott/Brian Jones tearing you a new one with their vocal extremes, little did I know how much my Grandparents would love my attempted version of Angus Youngs "thunderstruck" solo. That provided the reinforcement that tempered my will to keep playing all the more despite my bloody fingertips :o) It was a good thing making my skin on the tips of my fingers like plastic and strengthening my muscles in my fingers to bend in directions they had not gone.
Terry Collins was my first official guitar teacher who taught me what he called rhythm chords and what a stompbox boost was! Not to mention the beginnings of Malaguen'a. No more two fingered limiting playing. Time for years of EFFICIENT practice!
Lem Shepherd got me playing with the correct fingers rebuilding my foundation one note at a time. Now I could really start again in a much more efficient manner.
Time to practice jamming with John Luttrell who became like the Brother I never had!!!!!!!!!!
First official CD Demo Studio Recording with Scarlett, Cave Art Studios, with the late great and good trusted friend Todd Garrison, music composition/notation and rhythm guitar, Scarlett Garrison vocals, Tim Newton electric bass guitar, Arlecia Elkamil cello, Paul Carlson violin, Lem Shepherd Saxophone, Dallas Ward percussion, Michelle Thomas keyboards, Daniel T. Albertini Rhythm/lead acoustic and electric guitars, special thanks to Johns kindness in donating his beautiful Ovation for the sake of the call.
Joe Satriani was introduced to me by Ronald Burns when he gave me his tape to listen to and that permanently and completely rewired my brain in a really good way, I thought he was a keyboardist too when I heard midnight for the first time, when I had the realization that that was a guitar played like a piano my life changed forever........ which led to me asking Jeff Scheetz (who became a good friend and my Brother in Christ Jesus) how I could start learning better Satch's two hand tapping technique, so he told me to practice the G-Scale tapping it with other fingers instead after playing it openly!!! And read the bible, So I did and still do practice the G-Scale constantly in all positions and then some, and that always is the base foundation I return to in judging my own improvements!!! I also still re-read the bible but I do need to do that more often...
The New Beginning
So... Jeff Scheetz really took me under his wing and I followed him took some private lessons, and internet and mail lessons up until present day purchased his DVD learning series Rock Basics which I always show my students. Practice that G Scale with the correct fingering people and kiddos!HERE HE IS BLOWIN AWAY MINDS WITH HIS BANDMATES in

I am the most gloriously complex simple human being you will ever have a chance to meet or encounter! I am an unrealistic realist most of the time. I love nature, I am nature. I love animals, I am an animal. I love reptiles, I am, uh oh lets not go there yet :o) I enjoy making koi ponds waterfalls and bamboo gardens. I get a kick out of creating things from seemingly nothing. I am an Organic junkie and am ridiculously healthy in body, mind and spirit from this chosen lifestyle. I am highly intelligent but suffer from C.R.S. cannot remember didley. Nah, not that bad of a memory any more as long as I am not too stressed. But seriously folks, do you dare introduce yourself to an individual with so many interesting characteristics? I challenge you to go against the grain and do something you have never done before as long as it is all good and nobody gets hurt. Go rock climbing, skinny dipping, find a grapevine hanging off a big tree and swing off over a river and let go to experience pure natural exhilaration, find new ways to enjoy yourself and your own life!!!!! Take chances and choose your own adventure, TODAY is The Present it is Gods gift to YOU, so open it up and share it with someone YOU like to be with!!!!! Namaste'
P.S. Don't you dare ever come see me play the guitar you never know what could happen if you did that? Although I can personally guarantee you will not be the same person when you leave :o)
Keep Smiling, may peace be with you and yours.
Oh yeah I almost forgot to tell you my own personal mentor is Jesus' Christ so I guess that means I have a God complex as well!!!!!!!!!????????? Do not ever be afraid to ask questions in life as a child does, learn from the children for they will lead us home...
Sounds Like: Whatever YOU think? Let me know!
