I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I am a music addict (although I don't listen to a whole lot). I am almost always singing or playing something and driving people mental with the incesance of it. My band Querkus is in the middle of recording (sort of... long story... Querkus myspace has details). I write as much music as I can and inevidably have a huge backlog of mentally written songs banging on my skull to get out. Classical piano takes up a huge portion of my life. Singing is gradually becoming something I would say I can do well.
Oh, so yes I am married to this beauiful and awesome dude named Jaimz whom I love to pieces. We have been together for about 6 years and married for 2.
Somehow I have been able to develop a background in science - I have a Bsc in botany and work every summer driving up and dowm winnipeg streets looking for sick trees to paint orange. I am really into trees and their inner workings, perhaps I won't get into that.
I love to paint but I don't do much of that. I write obsessively in my journal (a real one made of paper with a leather cover). I love my friends and my family but perhaps don't see them as much as I should.
I hope to have a music career one day.... not to be rich and famous, but to have a career that is satisfying and pays the bills. Wish me luck.
