Every genre of the entertainment world has its fair share of proactive souls. Then, every once in a while, when things are going stale and people’s interests become lackluster there comes along a person, or an entity that brings about a change, which induces hope in people. In this case, I’m referring to KNOW (The) LEDGE Management. The glare of hope, or remedy if you will, I am KNOW (The) LEDGE Management’s founder KNOWLEDGE.
KNOW (The) LEDGE Management is an artist management company that features the best artists in the business, from those that have pioneered this scene to those that are working on the next frontier. Though it was founded only in 2007, the basis that artists have a need for proper representation has been there long before that.
I started the creation of KNOW (The) LEDGE Management, unknowingly sometime ago when I started handling bookings for local artists and venues. The music scene in the USA is growing. In the past, these very artists have had to rely on themselves to decide on their rate, their marketing, and their contracts among many other things. This can be a very time consuming and tedious process. KNOW (The) LEDGE Management handles all the typical "business" matters so that the artists can focus on what they do best - make GREAT music that moves the people. Simply put, KNOW (The) LEDGE Management is the liaison between artists and promoters, media, organizers among others.
SPIZ is definitely one of KNOW (The) LEDGE Management’s most popular artists and we value him very much. We are quite selective in booking him. When we receive a request, we make sure that the promoter knows what he or she is doing and that can become quite apparent when we talk to them. However it does not mean that we are not looking to work with new promoters and organizers. The event needs to have a promotional plan and needs to be well handled. And of course we will do whatever we can to make sure the event is successful. And need I say we follow this process with all our artists.The next release GLOBAL WARMING is going to be due out soon. The album is an original album and will be SPIZ’s first full-length album.KNOW (The) LEDGE Management focus is in the area of mainstream music. We work only with legal remixes and original music.
