Christian MySpace GraphicsIt all started 4 1/2 years ago my wife & I decided that God was telling us to go into full time Ministry, I gave notice at work & began to Pray, a couple months later we we're on the streets of downtown Spokane serving sandwhiches which turned into 7 nights per week & 225 -250 sandwhiches per night! We learned quick & after 3 months a drop in center closed & our Pastor at the time told us we could bring the people & house them over night in the Church basement. After 7 moves to different office spaces & warehouses we finally got a building downtown & became a legal Homeless Shelter. That's been over 4 years ago, with many tests of Faith a tun of opposition & God coming through every time, we now wonder what He's preparing us for. I was licensed as a Pastor this Summer & we began a Sunday evening service here at the shelter. There is a Documentary in the works as we speak because there's so much to the story it's crazy! Maybe your going through some tests that seam impossible, maybe your addicted to something & need someone who's been there to talk with. What ever your need I hope & Pray that we can help. Maybe God's stirring you to give of your time & resources, hey we can use the help. We survive mainly through donations from friends that we've gone to church with, business owners, a couple Churches, & a warm giving community. No salaries paid, all volunteers! Marty..
