About Me

We started making music together in 2007, but changed direction quite radically a couple of months ago...so this music is pretty much our first offering....enjoy!

My Interests

Music:

Band Members: Aron: Melodies, production, instruments and machines.
Alva: Words, melodies, voice.
Influences: When I (Aron) make the music, I'm (currently) influenced, sometimes subconsciously and in spite of myself and sometimes more by the attitude than the actual music, by such wildly differing things as Radiohead, DJ Shadow, Joy Division, Grateful Dead, Autechre, ESG, Lee Perry, Arvo Pärt, Funkadelic, Portishead, Timbaland, Frank Zappa, Fela Kuti (and other Nigerian 70's Funk), Talking Heads, Stone Roses, Bruce Haack, Norman Whitfield, Sonic Youth, The Knife, Ride, Suicide, Thelonious Monk, Scott Walker, LCD Sound System and The Congos. Then, of course, I try to make it sound like music. And then Alva adds the singing and it all turns into....
Sounds Like: ....well, something completely different. But much better. And pretty original, I think. In my pretentious moments I like to refer to our music as "post-soul". Is that OK with you?
