Influences: I like everything except country; I even like bluegrass. My favorite genre is alternative rock, like Nirvana and Soundgarden. Some of my favorite drummers are: Carter Beaford, from Dave Matthews, the drummer from 311, Chad Sexton, is excellent, Tool's drummer, Danny Carey, is the best at time signature changes, and the drummer from Phish, Jon Fishman, is the most technical. I like to listen to Tool, Perfect Circle, Soundgarden, Seether, System of a down, Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley, Nickel Creek, Evenesence, Fiona Apple, even Ella Fitzgerald. On the classical end of things, I also enjoy Puccini, Mozart, Beethoven, Strauss, Berlioz, and Schubert. I enjoy a wide range of genres, and they all influence my drumming, singing, and life.
