To save you time reading all the guff below here is the brief lowdown.....Realistic, Environmentally and Socially conscious, music loving, vegetarian. I sound like a New ager but without the flimsy, trite rhetoric and tangled hair. I think I'm becoming an urban hippy!!!
I am big on environmental issues, I work for a company that builds Biomass and waste to energy power stations (Heat/Power from Waste, Wood, etc) Its the only job I have really loved, because I feel my skills are being used to benefit the world, not just line the pockets of others, somewhat altruistic I know, I still feel I am not doing enough though
I love music, I like to write my own music just for myself in my front room, I play Bass, and Guitar. I intend to make a little recording studio in my new house and make a better fist at recording all my new ideas
I am also a vegetarian, have been for 6 years. I became veggie mainly for a lack of confidence in what it was that I was eating and how it had been "produced"
My favorite places are Sweden, Stockholm in particular, as I used to work over there on and off a few years ago and fell in love with the place. And also the Highlands of Scotland, the scenery is beautiful!
I am liable to whimsical ideas, that I am most likely not going to achieve due to lack of application, and fundamental practicalities, for example I want to build my own house, out of converted shipping containers.
I also love football, but despise the retarded blokeyness of it, so I wont watch it in pub. I support Everton, but above all I love playing, given the choice between watching a game at home on TV or down the park in the wind, rain or snow charging around, my boots would be on, and I'd be at the park gates before you finished the call.
