Jed was my nickname at school, funny story about the nickname though;
I was sitting in Clarkes Bar on the Fordham Road, in the Bronx, one Saturday afternoon getting smashed .. as you do when you are 18 (long time ago), .. & this fella starts talkin' to me, passin' the time of day and .. he says ..
"Anyway man! What's your name?"
.. "Jed", I said.
He replies, "Hey cool man! That must be short for Jedadiah, right?"
.. "No, its short for Paul!!", I replied!!
