Julie Babicka

My name is Julie Babicka. I was born in San Jose, Ca. My passion has always been in music. I sing, play piano, and write. I spent my childhood perfoming in Acrobatics. At age 18, I decided to move to Los Angeles, Ca. There I attended the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute, to study theater and voice. (All along, my musical aspirations followed me.) While living in LA, I discovered that my next door neighbor happened to be a great producer. We ended up becoming really great friends, and started working on my first song called "I Own the Show". Eventually, I moved back to San Jose (which is where I currenty reside). I've been lucky enough to collaberate with some brilliant producers (mainly James Day), musicians, and coaches along the way. I'm now working on my album called "Glory of My Dilemma". It's inspired by past journeys and struggles, and my search to find the positive in it all.
