Born in Tirana/Albania 1978, very soon the young violinist succeeded in starting up an international career. From 1996 on he studied with Prof. Ana Chumachenco at the College for Music and Theatre at the University of Munich. The concert tours took Rudens Turku not only through Germany, but also to England, Italy, Spain, Belgium, France, Canada, Albania, Luxembourg, Switzerland and the United States of America. His concerts were also recorded by several Radio and TV Stations in Germany, France, USA, Spain, New Zealand and Albania. Besides this, he also has been a guest at various festivals, such as the Music Festival of Schleswig-Holstein, the Festival of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, the “Chursächsischen†Mozart Festival Weeks, the Sanibel Music Festival (USA), Mayfield Music Festival (England), Tour Festival(France), and the Bodensee Music Festival. Rudens Turku is the founder and musical mentor of the Starnberger Musiktage Music Festival,Tegernseer Musikbegegnungen and "Huea de Grais" Academy. On October 3rd. 2002 Rudens was invited to perform for US former President Bill Clinton at the Ceremony of the German “Festakt†in Parliament during Mr. Clinton’s visit to Berlin. Since 2006 he acts as the artistic Director of Talentwerk e.V. society. The British “Observer†wrote after the release of his last CD by AVIE Records with romantic pieces of J. Brahms, R. Schumann and C.Franck : „A grand album debuet in respect of technical knowledge, as well as passionate performance. This is definitely the work of a mature Master“.Press and public with absolute enthusiasm accepted his latest recording together with the cellist Wen-Sinn Yang.
