Dog Tired are a five piece metal band hailing from the mighty Edgeville (that’s Penicuik to most people) just outside of Edinburgh. DT formed in early '05 with the intention of havin' a good time and playing the kind of music that we all wanted to hear. What’s that you ask? How about some good ol' heavy fuckin' metal.
Since the bands first gig in April of the same year they've been taking their groove ridden, train-wreck of a sound out into the clubs and venues of the Edinburger, Fundee and Glasvagas area where they've been tearing up stages, starting pits and getting those heads banging in an effort to force their chunking music into the faces of all those metal heads looking for a good time.
‘08 saw the band mack ass and throw down with the best of them, sharing the stage with such class acts as the mighty Man of the Hour, Panic Cell, Warbringer, Gamabomb and those old timers from South Central KDY, Certain Death.
‘09 is gonna be a year to watch. The debut album has been recorded and is at this moment in the proccess of being mixed so it should be in your hands in the next month or so. expect a mangled mess of a launch party followed by a mini tour all wrapped up with BOB4.0.
The band wanna say a big thanks to all those crazy motherfuckers who come along to as many of our gigs as humanly possible. You guys are all fuckin' boozehounds man! We hope to see you all in the pit real soon and then see two of you in the bar afterwards. So pass another drink, fuck emo and bang your fucking head cause we're gonna party on vulgar style!
