Daniel Johnston

Phenomenal concert by Daniel Johnston at the 40 Watt Club in Athens, Ga on August 11, 2007....Three parts to him playing that night, by himself, with friend Bret on guitar, and at the end backed by Athens own Casper and the Cookies.....I recorded the puppy and took some pics at the show......So into it, I emailed Daniel’s brother Dick Johnston (who helps handle Daniel’s music related inquires and stuff) first to get his OK on doing a myspace site and he replied back “ Go for it. Give us a link and we’ll include it on the fan site tour news.”(!) –Doug Knight
