Welcome to the official Army of Scum myspace page. Army of Scum is a Belfast based Heavy metal band who take influences from all sorts of heavy music, ranging all the way from grindcore and death metal right through to punk and hardcore. Each member brings their own unique style to the band which will become all the more evident once they record more of their material.
had decided that he needed to get back on the local metal scene again and quickly started to get the gears in motion. The next stepping stone in the band was the recruitment of vocalist Chris Craig and drummer Andy Burns. It seemed the band was starting to take shape. Over the summer the band had quite a few set backs, between holiday commitments, a lack of spare time and more importantly NO BASS PLAYER it took the AOS crew until September to really gather steam.
It was at this point that Stuart Geddis entered the band. As a long time friend of Chris's and with band commitments of his own the initial idea was to be an aid and just to help us jam out some tunes, after one practice however this was deemed unsuitable, as he just worked too well. Thus Army of Scum was finally complete.
So with 2008 here and the band quite literally dying to get out of practice and onto the live circuit, Army of Scum is most certainly going to destroy your quiet little town.
