About Me

It's arrived!! We've uploaded a song from our upcoming EP: "On the plot of ground at Jezreel dogs shall eat the flesh of Jezebel". Hope you enjoy it!
Thanks so much for Dylan at Innerflame for the good work on the mixing & to Dominique from Bloodwitness & Bramley for the art-work. We've changed our header image to give you a taste of things to come...
God bless!
Voir Dire (pronounced "Wua Deer") was born a little more than 3 years ago as the band Kiss the Son”. Originally Francois (drums) and Riaan (guitar) set out to make a breed of metal-core music fusedwith melodic attributes of other genres of music. After 2 years of searching for a bassist, Estian joined the team after a brief time in the U.S.A. At this time Kiss the Son wasstill looking for a vocalist and the band was approached by Charlene who has a passion for heavy music, but had no previous opportunity to experiment in this field. After herfirst audition it became clear that Kiss the Son would not fit into the standard “metal-core” genre, but out of which came the excitement of starting something new; blendingheavy breakdown driven metal-core, classical melodic progressions, catchy riffs and female vocals with a byte. After all these changes the band decided to change their name toVoir Dire - as this statement neatly describes what this band is about:
Truth.
It is the passion of Voir Dire that people will realize that Truth is a Person that can be temporarily ignored - but most definitely not denied.
"I am the Way, the Truth, the Life" is what Jesus said of Himself. The only mediator between God and man.
"Not Afraid"
