Sometime, about 8 years ago, when I left the boys on the dock in Norfolk, VA and put the Navy in my folder labeled 'Past Tense", I decided to take a tax return and buy myself a synthesizer. Its like a first kiss...you never forget it. Mine was a Korg MS2000. It wasn't until I met my partner Mike Murray that the keyboard even saw daylight. Before, it stayed right next to my bed so I didn't have too far to go once I played myself to the point of exhaustion. Mike and I jumped into the game feet-first, having both been Dj's for some years prior, and got straight down to brass tacks. It was around this time that Unavox was formed. To learn more about Unavox, check out our profile by finding us in New Army's friends list.
I could not begin to express the adventures the last 8 years have blessed me with. New Army was my alter-ego the entire way through it. From the first time I stepped behind turntables in 1999 until tomorrow and the next day.
These days, Unavox is still pushing strong, but as we gain age, we also gain responsibilities. I am currently holding my 2 year old sons hand as he lives the most beautiful years of his life. New Army has become a spare-time side project of mine that I do from home. Inspired by what inspires me, the music is more like a story, or a journey through world news and politics, and sometimes even my twisted mind. If you are any more curious about me or what I do, or want to become a homie in general, contact me. I'm pretty easy to get along with.
Hooyah!
Strap on some ear-goggles and turn it up.
