I have basically dedicated my life to the piano, both as a medium of self expression as well as a mechanical device. Playing, listening to, and studying jazz piano is my passion, and tuning and rebuilding pianos is my beloved vocation.
I have been very fortunate as of late to be performing around the Detroit area with my jazz trio "The Augmented 3rd" featuring my very talented friends; Gordon Meldrum (Upright Bass) and Dave Ziozios (Drums).
In addition, "The Augmented 3rd" has recently teamed up with the extraordinarily talented jazz vocalist Shiron Denise, the tremendous trumpet player Tony "Wojamm" Womack, and the gifted local saxaphone player Josh James to perform at clubs and festivals.
Also, Gordon and I (and the occasional friend) will also be working as a jazz ensemble with the wonderful young vocal talent, Katy Picard.
Another project that I am proud to have been a part of recently was being very lucky over the course of the last two years to have accompanied the great Yumiko "Lala" Tsuji throughout the Kansai region of Japan, as well as at shows in Detroit and at the prestigious Klavierhaus "Fazioli Salon" in NYC.
