Angel

Ive been playing the piano since i was 5 yrs old. I left music for all of my twenties. Forgot about it and was miserable. I was shakin outta my coma when I heard my mentor play a bluesy love song that gave me goose bumps. After a few months i was picking his brain, glued to every lesson and every key stoke on the piano trying to pick up new techniques. I grew up playing classical style piano. The last few yrs, i have grown determined to hone in to my unique style and message to share with the people. I play scales on the guitar that i learned in just a couple hrs. I got a guitar for xmas 2005 and I have dedicated many hrs learning this new torture device. lol I love music and the feelings it brings out in me. ''The Truth'' is what i call it. I have something to say. I have come into my true expression of art that reflects my experiences and reflects the love and respect I have for god , family, and friends. I own my mentors yamaha keyboards , that go every where w/ me. (High G doesnt work cause i played for some friends at the pool on the beach and quit working in SC) But jams great... it will be a sad day when my keys die. / Ps.. On Nov 17th of 06 , my apartment and neighbors was completely destroyed by fire... and all was lost. The cockatiels you hear in background, (Bella&Crackerjack&Rio) on "Angel's Blues", died in the fire. There was no time to save anything, the fire was on top of my sister and I as we woke. Im grateful we made it out and neighbors are all good.. Thanks be to god.. I am sad about it and the keys are dead but not in my head.. Still writing and got a guitar from momma for xmas so im playing and I guess this forces me to play the guitar instead of always going to piano that I feel more confident about.
