I am a good natured person who likes the outdoors,picnics,barbecues,walking for excersize,trips to places I haven't been.also like a lot of different crafts,I started scrapbooking but haven't kept up with it.Love music,and sang in the choir at church for many years.I Love my family, and having lots of friends,laughter and good times, also love God,and He has blessed me greatly.I am very friendly and easy to get along with, A widow for the second time. Now live in the state of Maryland,but was born and raised in Washington state. My home town Yakima, moved to Seattle and lived in or around there untill I married. Now that I have moved, really miss the beautiful evergreen trees in Washington State. My first husband was in the army,so we moved around a bit, have also lived in South Carolina,California,and Texas,now here in Maryland. I have four son's and a daughter,and now a daughter-in-law,living near by,and a daughter in washington state,and seven grandchildren. no great grandchildren yet! Youngest grandchild almost 9 months old. her name is Shyanne.< THINGS I'VE LEARNED...I've learned that you can get by on charm for about 15 minutes.After that, you'd better know something.I've learned that you shouldn't compare yourself to the best others can do, But to the best you can do.I've learned that it's not what happens to people that's important.It's what they do about it.I've learned that two people can look at the exact same thing And see something totally different.I've learned that a good friend is better than a therapist.I've learned that you cannot make someone love you.All you can do is be someone who can be loved.The rest is up to them.I've learned that it's hard to determine where to draw the line Between being nice and not hurting people's feelings And standing up for what you believe.
