About Me

I mama to a son that has Aspergers Syndrome also known as High Functioning Autism, falling under the Autism Spectrum. He also has Ehyler Danlos Syndrome that is a bleeding/bruising disorder along with AD/HD, Epilepsy, Asthma, and Receptive/Expressive Speech Disorder, Sensory Integration and exceptional hearing. There is not a day that goes by that he does not amaze me or make me proud to be his mama! When he was diagnosed I was told that it could be in in the family as well have been from the trauma he suffered during labor and delivery. I had known that my dad has a exceptionally high IQ but I never realized that he and his grandson would be two peas in a pod! He also was over vaccinated, he had a doctor that left the practice, one that lost their license so the third one decided to "redo" ones they thought he had not gotten though it was written on his vaccine sheet! Boy, I was not aware that this could harm him until much later and after much research! No one is sure what happened, all I know for sure is that bub has Asperger's and I am his mama warrior and will not stop until I help him stop being sick! Asperger's did not even start being diagnosed until early 1980s and even then it was not well known. I wish that for my families sake it would have been discovered much earlier then maybe things would have been easier on my dad growing up, as well as for me when I was growing up. All that matters is that we have taken bubs diagnosises researched and learned, asked questions and never stopped believing in my gut instinct!I love to read just about anything but I collect Dean Koontz and Chicken Soup for the Soul, I listen to all kinds of music as long as I can understand the lyrics and I am a child of God. I am a strong advocate not only for my child but for my best friend as well so no one mess with em! I have learned many lessons over the years and not always the easy way, I will continue to be the advocate for bub and many other things I believe in, don't try to stop me but join me! I have lost babied during pregnancy at different stages and that is another reason this page was started, to advocate for all my children.I am also a photo bug, a hand made card maker/craft maker as well as a writer. I am disabled due to a back injury from 05 that has taken my Nursing career and dreams but God and bub helps me make it through even the worst moments of pain.
