My name is Mac McCaffery. I grew up on a farm in rural Michigan.
I played guitar, drums and sang vocals with my local heroes.
After touring the mid-west for ten years with variety of different bands, I moved to Nashville to promote original music and tour the south. Along the way I picked up substance, stories and lore that translated into the cornerstone of the music.In 1992 I got bit by the “Blues Bug†and moved to Austin, Texas to promote
my original music in the Live Music Capitol of the World. After ten years of playing on Austin’s iconic Sixth Street I moved to a small farm outside Austin to get back to my roots and find the foundation for the soul of my works.I recorded my first CD “Man From Mars†between the humble walls of the farm house. The music I create is a perception of unquestionable people who truly walk the walk of life.
