Whilst most other 18 year olds would be struggling through a school fuelled academic adventure, Conor Boylan is enrolling in an electronic education that has his truckload of trance bulldozing through the most boisterous of bass barricades.
His high energy hard hitting set at Planet Love’s infamous and infatuating Goodgreef meets Fire It Up Arena in 2007 proved that he was no new kid on the block, and despite his tender age, his musical maturity is destined to teach the old dogs’ new tricks.
Conor is a promoters dream, not only is he creating mass musical mayhem on stage, he’s also organising and orchestrating clubbing chaos offstage in venues across Ireland, acting as one of the countries youngest promoters.
Production wise, Conor has added yet another jewel to his well polished clubbing crown. Having learned the art of creating his own sound, he has went on to produce numerous different tracks as well as different remixes and bootlegs which have seen support from many of his fellow DJs. Conor demonstrates a rare talent and is continually peaking in performance whilst simultaneously conquering clubland.
Among his idols lie the likes of Eddie Halliwell, John O’Callaghan, Richard Durand, Dave Schiemann and Paul Webster to name a few.
With plenty on the itinerary list, having played up and down the country and having made his first overseas appearance in October of this year in Edinburgh, it’s evident that Conor Boylan is a busy man. His hard work, perseverance and continuous ability to make people smile has made him one of the most respected and popular DJs about today.
The next time you’re blinded by a fluorescent promotional poster look closely, because Conor’s name is more than likely on it.
