Music, singing and songwriting is my passionAlready at age four they recorded me singing at home, making up melodies and lyrics about cats and the milk they drank, and anything else that fascinated me, like – America, cakes, birds and what not.And at age six I had dreams, you know, not dreams of barbie dolls, but dreams of singing (acting). I told my mom that all I need to study is English (and it-s not my first language, you know) and some math, so I can count the money I make from singing and music. I was a profet, maybe. My dad, that-s a different story. He was drumming. Not on drums but on everything else, tables, pots and pans, glasses and dishes and on people too! He played the organ as well and my old sister played wood winds. So, I absorbed all that early on and I started to learn how to play on real instruments, guitar and keyboards, also the bigger one with the foot pedals. I graduated from highschool with music as an important subject.Only after I finished my military service of about two years (where I saw some action near the border), I came back to my music. I went to India. What a new musical experience! Hanging around with my acustic Givson guitar and writing songs I realized that my old dream of being a musician, will be a reality.Back in Israel, Rimon School of Contemprary Music and Jazz is where I got my formal education. Taking couses like songwriting, Jazz improvisation, harmony and other, got me to where I am now: a performer, a teacher of voice training and a band leader to perform my own songs. I have performed a lot, in a variety of venues, gathering lots of experience and inspiration such as performing along side some big names in Israeli music, such as Gali Atari, Sasi Keshet, and Shiri Maimon. It has, no doubt, put me on the track for rising further to new heights.
